Pizzas that will satisfy your tastebuds.

Square Pizza was created out of a love for pizza and the need for a family of eight to get something quick, yet delicious and healthy.

With that, Cindy & Ken McClain opened yet another thriving business. Square Pizza will make everyone in the family smile. With only the freshest ingredients, salads, calzones and pies are made daily to ensure complete tastebud satisfaction. Our popular pizzas are the three cheese, meat lovers with large pepperoni, Square House and the Italian! If you feel like being creative, do it! Make your own masterpiece and choose from nearly two dozen ingredients.

Exceptional pizza… for us it’s about the fresh. Every morning we start by chopping the vegetables, kneading the dough, cooking the meat so that our customer gets the best of the fresh. There will be no scrimping in this Square kitchen!

Square Pizza is perfect for a date night or a group. In the very next room we have new arcade games to keep the restless busy. We offer call ahead orders to make your night at the Pharaoh Theater or bowling at Diamond Bowl that much easier. We’re open Sundays, so don’t forget about us when watching the game.

Revitalizing a Community.

With Ophelia’s Restaurant and Inn as the anchor, the opening of that business didn’t happen because the McClain’s wanted to own a restaurant, but instead because of a desire to revive the Independence Square.

The Square is rich with Truman history and seemed a shame to waste.  A restaurant seemed like a logical place to start because it can become a destination situation unlike other types of businesses. The desire to revive the Square has grown into a total of 18 businesses (and counting!) since Ken and Cindy began this adventure. With a combination of retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues, the Independence Square keeps getting better and better!
